Crazy Party Engine History
This particular engine spent its entire service in Ayrshire,
Scotland. When the Engine was new in 1989, it was used as the
first pump (D021) at one of the Fire Stations (D02) in the city
of Kilmarnock, Scotland. After five years of service it was transferred
in 1994 from a busy city environment to the beautiful seaside
town of Largs on Scotlands west coast.
It spent a further nine years based at the Fire Station (D24)
in the town of Largs, where it was identified as Pump D243. The
Engine was then replaced by Retrofit Rescue Pump N823 JSU and
served at Greenock Renfrewshire as a retained for its last year
